Travel Trade Signal is an independent publication for travel industry professionals. This notice explains what we collect when you register as a reader, why, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: [email protected].
What we collect
When you register to read Signal Weekly we collect your work email address, your agency or company name, your city and country as you enter them, the date you registered, and a record that you gave consent. We also record the country your connection comes from, as reported by our hosting provider, to understand where our readers are. We do not store your IP address and we do not collect payment details.
Why we use it
- To give you access to every issue without asking again.
- To understand our readership, for example how many agencies read us in each country.
- To contact you about Travel Trade Signal, such as important changes to the publication. You can opt out at any time.
- To share aggregated, anonymous readership figures with advertisers, for example "40% of readers are in the Gulf". We never sell, rent or share your individual details with advertisers or anyone else.
We rely on your consent, given when you tick the box on the registration form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your details.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you remain a reader. If you ask us to remove them, we delete them within 30 days. Registrations with no activity for three years are deleted.
Where it is stored
Reader details are stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare, which acts as our processor and runs a global network, so your data may be processed outside your country under Cloudflare's data protection commitments. Access is limited to the Travel Trade Signal team.
Some photos on this site are delivered directly from Unsplash's image servers. As with any image loaded from another website, your browser's IP address is visible to Unsplash when it delivers the photo. We do not share your registration details with Unsplash.
Cookies
We keep cookies to the minimum needed to run the site. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, and our visitor statistics are cookie-free.

These cookies are strictly necessary for the service you request, so we do not ask for separate cookie consent. You can delete them in your browser at any time; you will simply be asked to register again.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your details, to object to or restrict how we use them, to receive a copy, and to withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Travel Trade Signal is a professional publication and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we will update this notice and the date above.
